Salvatore (Sonny) Grosso, President

Mr. Grosso began his security career in 1974 with one of the top grocery chains in The United States. He rose through the ranks quickly and was appointed the youngest Director in the company's history and several years later, repeated as the youngest Vice President. Mr. Grosso gained the respect and admiration of his peers throughout the retail industry, where before leaving to create InterSec Protection Inc, he was responsible for the security and shrink of over 1500 retail stores throughout 24 States and 2 Canadian Provinces. He became a pioneer for preventing losses and reducing shrink through the utilization of CCTV systems, management interaction and executive seminars. He received many special honors and recognition awards from law enforcement agencies and Benevolent Associations for his assistance and guidance.

In 1989, Mr. Grosso became a licensed private investigator and joined many security councils and organizations. He assisted legislative executives with the implementation of the New York Civil Demand Law and New York State Security Guard Act. He has provided personal protection for motion picture location shoots and celebrities as well as sports celebrities and executives throughout the country. He is highly sought after for consultations, seminars and investigations throughout the private, corporate and retail sectors of society.

InterSec Protection Inc was founded in 2002 and has grown to be recognized as a professional and innovative security and investigation company, diversified in all aspects of security systems and manpower, assisting law enforcement, attorneys, and Fortune 500 companies with internal and private investigations as well as creating and establishing security and loss prevention programs to help reduce losses.

Mr. Grosso sits on the Board of Directors for United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County and has served as Chairman of their Annual Golf and Tennis Tournament for the past 15 years. His caring and dedication to this event, along with a hand picked committee and outstanding co-chairman, has helped raise over one million dollars to benefit the organization. He is also actively involved with several other charitable organizations, sitting on committees, and assisting in the raising of significant funds that benefit the less fortunate. He has been named "Man of the Year" an unprecedented five separate times and continues to support any organization that needs his assistance.
