These days there are just so many new cars and with those cars come new technology and sometimes the simplest things seem hard and really can overwhelm a person. Today I’m talking about, “How to adjust the speaker system on the new 2010 Honda Accord’. I will teach you how to turn the front and back speakers on and off so that if you only want the front speakers on you will be able to do so. Also you can adjust what side speakers. So if you want the Right side on and left side off you can do so.
This is a very simple setting and is a great one. I have tested mine on the 2010 Honda Accord EX-L model without navigation so if yours has navigation the console might look different but the buttons are all the same. First you turn on the music and then press menu. There you will see 7 options to choose from as you scroll down.
• Bass
• Treble
• Fader
• Balance
• SuBW
• SVC
• Clock Adjustment
So let’s say you want to turn the front speakers on and the Rear speakers off. You would do this by going to the option called (Fader) and there on the screen you will see a big (C) this means that all the speakers are outputting the same amount of noise. You would then accordingly turn the knob to which speakers you want on and which you want off.
• Front speakers on and rear off – Turn the knob clockwise or to the right.
• Rear speakers on and front off – Turn the knob counterclockwise or to the left.
The thing I love so much about this system is that if you just want to dim the front of rear speakers and not completely turn them off you can do so. Both options (Fader and Balancer) come with a setting of 1-9 and you can choose accordingly.
Now let’s say you for some reason want the right speakers on and the left off. You would use the same concept except instead of going to Fader you would go to (Balancer). There you could dim the speakers however much you want using the knob.
• Right speakers on and left off- Turn the knob right.
• Left speakers on and right off – Turn the knob left.
